Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Panel Build

Join Gloria Dei and Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity to build the walls to a future home in just one day! Please see task descriptions below and sign up for your desired shift. No experience? No problem. Our construction managers will teach you anything you need to know on site! The Setup Crew will unload the truck and set up various work stations for the day. Nail Captains will assist/lead small groups of Wall Builders and help assemble the wall panels (no experience required). Wall Builders will assemble the wall panels, which may include the use of various tools, such as saws, routers, and hammers. *Must be 16+ to volunteer. Students ages 16-17 must volunteer with an adult age 21+.
