God has given me the privilege and responsibility to assist the men of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church to engage with the Lord Jesus in meaningful ways and to foster relationships with other men that last a lifetime. We have an awesome opportunity, as men of God, to do life together and encourage one another in our faith.

If I could share one thing with other men, it would be this. Tell God you are available and then be ready to go into deeper waters. It may be risky, terrifying and outside your comfort zone, but watch God work in your life. We see this with the exchange between Jesus and Peter in Luke 5:1-11. Peter responds to Jesus that he has toiled all night for nothing but obeys when Jesus asks him to let down his nets again. You know what happens next. I love this about Jesus, He’s just asking for our trust.

My wife, Anne, is my high school sweetheart and best friend. I am so grateful for how she loves and serves our family. We have two amazing children on loan from God, Jessica and Kyle. They both love their Lord and Savior and God has blessed them with courage and boldness in their personal ministries. We love everything that has to do with the outdoors! Hunting, fishing, kayaking, scuba diving, and biking just to name a few. Thanking God for His creation and allowing us to enjoy it!
