Today we are reading Philemon. In this one chapter letter Paul writes about reconciliation. As an ever present-theme Paul encourages his readers to share their faith in Jesus. “I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers, because I hear of your love and of the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints, and I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.” Philemon 1:4-6 ESV When did you first become aware of the absolute necessity of sharing your faith? Paul says that when we share our faith we become more aware of what we have in Jesus. How have you grown in this area? What are some lessons you have learned from sharing Jesus?
