Romans 14

Today we are reading Romans 14. In this chapter we read about individuality in expressions of faith. “As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.” Romans‬ ‭14‬:‭1‬-‭4‬, ‭19‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Have you ever been at a church that was really different from what you were used to? How did you react? What were your “take-aways”? My general rule is that if God is blessing their ministry then there is probably a lot I can learn from them. Different is not the same as wrong. May God teach you something new today. Pastor Tim
