Executive Director

I oversee the operations of the church – from budget to staffing to facility usage. Part of my role is to solve problems and remove obstacles for our Directors so they can do their jobs most effectively. I lead staff meetings and work toward improving communication among the staff so we are unified and moving in the same direction. I meet with a variety of outside vendors to make sure Gloria Dei is getting the best value for all services performed by third parties. I also ensure that the church is as safe as possible from a legal and risk standpoint.

I am very blessed with my parents who live in Altoona, a brother in Denver and a sister in Des Moines. My grandmother turned 100 in June and she is a bright spot in my heart as well. Outside the office, I like to golf with friends and go for runs on hot, humid evenings. I spend time learning apologetics, which helps me better defend and explain my faith to those who are skeptics and have different worldviews.

God’s faithfulness is what captivates my heart and mystifies my mind. I know how often I am unfaithful, how often I am drawn to things other than my Creator…and yet God, in His infinite mercy and grace, continues to love and pursue me. I can’t begin to fully understand the depth of His immeasurable love but I am overjoyed that I will have an eternity to try.
