2 Chronicles 4

Today we are reading 2 Chronicles 4. In this chapter we read about Solomon and Hiram making the Temple furnishings. “So Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of God: the golden altar, the tables for the bread of the Presence, the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold to burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed; the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of purest gold; the snuffers, basins, dishes for incense, and fire pans, of pure gold, and the sockets of the temple, for the inner doors to the Most Holy Place and for the doors of the nave of the temple were of gold.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭4:19-22‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Solomon was intimately involved with every detail of the Temple construction. Every feature of the Temple was designed for worship and the offering of sacrifices. In the New Testament we read that our bodies are the the Temple of the Holy Spirit. How has God designed you for worship and sacrifice? How are you involved with worship at church? Is there a way you can be more involved? What sacrifices do you offer to God? May God bless you with joy in worship. Pastor Tim
