Today we are reading 1 Thessalonians 3. In this chapter we read about Paul’s concern for the faith of the Thessalonians. “Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you, and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you, so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.”
1 Thessalonians 3:11-13 ESV Have you ever been concerned for the spiritual well-being of someone? Have you ever been broken-hearted as a former Christian turns their heart away from God? This was Paul’s fear for the Thessalonians. What can we do in such a situation? We can pray. We can live our life as a testimony to God’s love and mercy. We can speak the truth in love. And, we can be comforted in knowing that God’s word never comes back void. It always accomplishes the purpose for which God sent it. As you have sown the seed of the Gospel you can pray for that seed to be revived. Pastor Tim
