Holy, Blameless, Above Reproach (Meyer)

Today’s segment of Colossians one brings up something that is hard for us to understand as Christian people. We believe that we are sinners...that’s not a problem. We believe that we are forgiven...and we love that truth. But do we really believe that we are “holy” in God’s sight? Do we even come close to trusting that we are “blameless” and “above reproach”? Those are amazing words and they are also hard words to believe because we know ourselves too well. We look in the mirror and know how sinful we really are. Today we’ll remember that it’s not how you look to yourself that matters, but how you look to God. And in our life in Christ, we are in His sight, “Holy, Blameless, Above Reproach”...thanks be to God!
