Mature (Meyer)

One of the more common images that Jesus gave for our faith-life was the image of a planted seed. Jesus wanted us to understand that the Gospel “seed” once planted, not only takes root but also grows the whole of our life. So, when we consider our life in Christ, we must remember that living in and through Jesus means that we are growing in our faith every day. In fact, we are growing by the power of the Holy Spirit towards a maturity that Christ wants in the life of every believer. While we will not be “complete” until we die or the Second Coming happens, in our life in Christ we are all growing into “Mature” men and women of God in His sight every single day.
