Worship is at the core of who we are at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. It is more than music—it is a way of life, a response to God’s love, and a reflection of His glory. Our Worship Ministry exists to lead God’s people into His presence, creating an atmosphere where hearts are transformed, faith is strengthened, and lives are surrendered to Him.
Rooted in John 4:23-24, we seek to worship the Lord in spirit and truth, lifting our voices in praise, uniting in prayer, and immersing ourselves in His Word. Worship is not just something we do—it is how we express our love for Christ and grow in our faith together as a community.
Whether through music, liturgy, or service, there is a place for everyone to participate in worship. Whether you sing, play an instrument, serve behind the scenes, or simply desire to deepen your worship life, we invite you to join us as we lift high the name of Jesus.

Traditional & Contemporary Worship

Our Worship Team exists to glorify God through music, leading our congregation in heartfelt, Christ-centered worship. Whether through song, instruments, or tech support, we seek to create an atmosphere where people can encounter God, grow in their faith, and lift their voices in praise.
We welcome vocalists, instrumentalists, and tech team members who have a heart for worship and a desire to serve. Whether you’ve been leading worship for years or are just starting out, there’s a place for you!
Our team is more than just music—it’s a community. We pray together, encourage one another, and grow in our gifts as we serve the church. If you’re interested in being part of Gloria Dei’s Worship Team, we’d love to connect with you!

Recharge & Youth Music

Are you passionate about music and looking for a way to use your gifts in worship? Gloria Dei’s Youth Worship Team is the perfect place to grow in your faith, develop your musical talents, and lead others in praising God!
  • Worship Team: We meet for practice every Wednesday from 5:00-5:30 PM, and our youth service begins at 6:00 PM. We’re always looking for instrumentalists and singers—whether you play guitar, drums, keyboard, or another instrument, there’s a place for you! Serving on the Worship Team also counts toward Silver Cord hours.
  • Youth Choir: Beginning mid-fall, the Youth Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:45-8:30 PM and performs once for Recharge and for the Christmas Cantata. If you love to sing and want to be part of something special, we’d love for you to join!
