New Power

Life in this world can often leave us feeling tired and afraid. We look at our lives, and the world we live in, and it can start to feel helpless or hopeless that change is possible. Today we celebrate that the resurrection of Jesus declares that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us, empowering us to face opposition, fear, and weakness with confidence. Isaiah reminds us that God upholds His people with a righteous right hand, and Paul reminds us that we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. The resurrection gives us not only new life, but also new strength & divine power for every struggle we may face.
