New Beginning

On that first Easter, when the stone rolled away and the tomb stood empty, God declared that death no longer gets the final word. In the resurrection of Jesus, a new beginning breaks into a weary world. A new reality where one can have hope where there was despair, life where there was loss, light when darkness had thought it won. The same power that raised Christ from the grave now breathes new life into us and invites us to step out of our own tombs of fear, regret, and defeat and into a new reality…He is not here; He is Risen! This Easter we come together not to remember an old story but to be reminded of our New Beginning in Christ.
