Blessed (Phillips)

Psalm 32:1-7
Colossians 1:9-14

When we think about our blessings, typically we go to things like family, house, career and other tangible, physical, earthly blessings. And to be sure, those are blessings from the hand of God. And yet, the greatest blessing we have is the forgiveness of sins and life everlasting. We know that’s true and yet, as we count our blessings every day, we sometimes forget just how blessed we are in Jesus and His saving love! Today, we remember from Psalm 32 that “blessed” means being forgiven, and is centered in the fact that the Lord does not count our iniquities against us.
