Continual Praise (Meyer)

Psalm 34:1-8
1 Thessalonians 5:12-18

When we think of worshiping our Lord and Savior, we think of coming to Gloria Dei to sing His praise, hear His Word and receive His Sacraments...and all of that is “worship” or “praise” to be sure. But today, we remember through the words of Psalm 34, that “praise” isn’t an event in our week...“praise” is our week...“praise” is in fact, our life! Paul reminds the Thessalonians to: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, (and) give thanks in all circumstances.” Praise isn’t just an event for us... but because of our faith in Jesus, praise is our lifestyle. So, today we remember we live in “Continual Praise.”
