Kingdom Identity (Meyer)

The foundation for Christian living comes from our unique identity that we have been given through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Scripture says that when we were baptized we died to ourselves and live for Jesus alone and His mission on earth. We have been made a people that are in the world but not of the world. A people that live in the values of this world but are not guided by the values of this world. We are also a people who have been sent into this world as ambassadors/witnesses to the truth of Jesus and His love for all. This week we will look again at how incredible our identity in Jesus is and how this stands in contrast to the identity that the world wants us to have.
