He is Our Connection (Meyer)

This week we look at the last “I AM” statement in the book of John. In chapter 15, Jesus not only presents Himself as the one true vine, but also reveals there are basically two kinds of branches: those that can alive and bearing fruit and those that are withering and dying and fruitless. The difference between the two is one is abiding in the Vine, connected to Jesus, and the other is not. The question everyone must answer is, “Are you an connected to the Vine, connected to Jesus, or not?” The answer to this question makes all the difference in the world because He is our Connection...our Connection to God, to forgiveness of sins and to eternal life.
