Mercy (Meyer)

Today, we will look at mercy. When Christians learn about and grow in the subject of “Mercy”, there is perhaps no better passage of Scripture than “The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant.”Granted, this parable approaches the subject from someone who did not have mercy, but it reminds us just how important mercy is to our Lord and Savior. The Lord freely gives us His mercy and He does so in order that we can not only have our place in His kingdom, but so that we can give mercy to those around us. We receive mercy from God and we are then to, in turn, give mercy to others! Mercy...From God—For Others!
