His Body (Phillips)

In the beginning God created our bodies from the dust of the ground and then it was His breath in us that gave us life. God is life and apart from God there is no life to be found. Jesus came as to not only redeem our souls but to redeem our bodies as well. Jesus came to forgive us, renew us, heal us, and then fill us with the Holy Spirit. Paul says we are now temples of the Holy Spirit and that we are to honor God with our bodies. We honor God with the decisions we make as we treat well this gift that has been given to us by God…His Body
