Today we are reading Titus 2. In this chapter Paul emphasizes the importance of teaching the pure word of God. The keyword for this chapter is “hu-gi-ai-no”. The definition is “to be well, to be healthy, to be sound.” “But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine.” Titus 2:1 ESV Paul uses this word to refer to teaching. If we teach accurately the word of God the result is that those who hear us will be spiritually healthy. Who are you teaching? How can you make sure you teach sound doctrine? Why is it important to be spiritually healthy? May God give you the Holy Spirit to guide and guard you in sound doctrine! Pastor Tim
