Today we are reading Titus 2. In this chapter we read about further instructions on teaching and living the faith. “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.” Titus 2:11-14 ESV It is troubling to see the lawlessness and rebellion in our world today. God’s word teaches us to be different. We are not to be caught up in the social trends or philosophies. Rather we are called to stand for what is good and right in God’s eyes. How does this play out in your life? How are you standing out for your Biblical integrity and kindness? What are the good works that your neighbors see in you? May God bless your neighbors through you! Pastor Tim
