Today we are reading Romans 8. In this chapter Paul gives us encouragement regarding our struggles in this life. The keyword for this chapter is “hu-per-ni-ka-o”. The definition is “to conquer, to win a victory”. My own translation is “super-conqueror”. “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37 So, no matter what we are going through our loving God gives us a glorious victory in Jesus’ name. The problem is, we do not feel victorious and much of our outlook is dependent upon our fragile feelings. What are we to do? Stop focusing on how you feel and focus on the mighty promises of God!
