Today we are reading Romans 5. In this chapter we read about our justification—how we are made right with God. “For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8 ESV This is an excellent description of what Jesus has done for us. Who are you willing to die for? Maybe your family members? Maybe your best friend? Who do you think is willing to die for you? As we think such thoughts we carefully search through our list of loved-ones…including some, excluding others. Jesus doesn’t carefully search—He died for everyone! He died for the weak. He died for the ungodly. He died for sinners. He died for you and He died for me. May you imitate His sacrificial love! Pastor Tim
