Today we are reading Romans 3. In this chapter Paul focuses on the truth that we are made right with God by a gift. The keyword for this chapter is “di-kai-o-su-nay”. The definition is “righteousness”. Paul says that this “righteousness” is a gift from God. “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
Romans 3:22-24 This gift was paid for by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross. This gift includes the complete forgiveness of our sins. This gift promises eternal life to all who believe. God has given you this gift and the joy of giving it to others. May God inspire you to share His gift of righteousness today and every day! Pastor Tim
