Romans 16

Today we are reading Romans 16. In this chapter Paul concludes his letter to the church in Rome. The keyword for this chapter is “as-pa-zo-mai”. The definition is “to greet”. In this final chapter Paul greets many friends.  Notice how many of them have names that are not Jewish!  Paul has been very effective in preaching the Gospel outside of his own people group.  His love for his spiritual offspring is over the top!  Like a father, in his final words he warns them against those who cause divisions. How do you feel about your Christian friends? It is a special blessing to be able to greet each other and encourage each other. God has placed us in communities so that we may care for each other.  How do you care for your fellow Christians?  God bless you today as you bless your brothers and sisters in Christ! Pastor Tim
