Today we are reading Romans 16. In this chapter Paul concludes his letter to the church in Rome. With many greetings he concludes with this benediction: “Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.”
Romans 16:25-27 ESV How do you conclude a conversation? Paul directs us to the One True God for wisdom. How appropriate! His letter is intended to be read by many. Do your words give life and hope? Do your words direct people to God? The best we can do to help others is to give them Jesus! May God use you for that very purpose! Pastor Tim
