Romans 14

Today we are reading Romans 14. In this chapter we read about not judging but being aware that God will judge. “For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:7-8, 10-12‬ ‭ESV‬‬ What does it mean to you that “we are the Lord’s”? If we are the Lord’s, how does that change how you spend your day? How does it change how you plan your future? When we read about standing before God to give an account, what thoughts come to mind? May God inspire you to live for Him in everything you do. Pastor Tim
