Today we are reading Revelation 9. In this chapter we read about two more angels sounding their trumpets and releasing pain and suffering on the earth. “The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” Revelation 9:20-21 ESV This chapter reminds me of our current times. We are all suffering as a result of the pandemic. Christians are praying and seeking God. Evil people continue in their wickedness. The rise in immorality is devastating. The false gods of self, happiness and feelings lead people to say godliness is strange and sin is normal. How can you be a guide to those who are lost? Who can you offer hope to? May God give you His wisdom so that you can avoid the traps of the devil. Pastor Tim
