Today we are reading Revelation 6. In this chapter we read about the unfolding of dramatic events. The keyword for this chapter is “sfa-gis”. The definition is “seal. Seals were used as a stamping device in place of signatures to make a document valid. The impression was normally made on clay, wax or some other soft material.” “Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come!”” Revelation 6:1 ESV In this chapter, every time a seal is opened and vision appears. With each vision you get the impression of dramatic actions that God is sending upon the earth. The general impression is that the powerful and rich will be terrified. How will we survive the end times? What can you do when you are afraid? Remember that no matter how scary things get, God is in control. May God give you His peace in all things. Pastor Tim
