Revelation 21

Today we are reading Revelation 21. In this chapter we read about the New Heavens and the New Earth. The keyword for this chapter is “skay-nay”. The definition is “tent, tabernacle, dwelling place”. “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”” Revelation‬ ‭21:3-4‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Think of your home—this is your dwelling place. You have a variety of people that you welcome into your home. Generally, those you welcome are people you have a good relationship with. Here we read that God welcomes us into His dwelling place. How amazing is that!? What do you think of when you reflect on the promise that we will spend eternity in the dwelling place of God? As you look around your humble home may God comfort you with dreams of Heaven.  Pastor Tim
