Today we are reading Psalm 99. In this psalm we read about God’s awesomeness remembered in the time of Moses. “Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is he! Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel also was among those who called upon his name. They called to the Lord, and he answered them. In the pillar of the cloud he spoke to them; they kept his testimonies and the statute that he gave them. O Lord our God, you answered them; you were a forgiving God to them, but an avenger of their wrongdoings. Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy!” Psalm 99:5-9 ESV When I think of Moses and Aaron, I think of foolish men and a powerful God. Moses and Aaron made mistakes and struggled as God’s servants. They were overwhelmed by the challenges of their lives. God displayed His glory and might powerfully. He delivered the Hebrews from Egypt and destroyed Pharoah’s mighty army. God is the same today—awesome and strong to save. We are like Moses and Aaron. We desperately need God to help us with everything in this life. May God show His strength in your life today! Pastor Tim
