Today we are reading Psalm 92. In this chapter we read about the enduring quality of a believers life-work. “The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, to declare that the Lord is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.” Psalm 92:12-15 ESV The part that stands out to me is “They still bear fruit in old age.” I have been very impressed by the extreme faithfulness of our people in serving. I believe the reason we continue to be faithful is that our work flows out of our ongoing relationship with our Lord. As children of God, there is no time when we stop bearing fruit! God bless your excellent service! Pastor Tim
