Psalm 88

Today we are reading Psalm 88. In this psalm we read about a person who is desperate for God’s help. “O Lord, God of my salvation, I cry out day and night before you. Let my prayer come before you; incline your ear to my cry! For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near to Sheol. I am counted among those who go down to the pit; I am a man who has no strength,”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭88:1-4‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Have you ever been in that position? Have you ever cried out to God day and night? What caused you to be in that position? It is curious that when we are so desperate we feel as though there is no end in sight to our suffering. The truth is that everything we experience on earth is temporary. There will be times of joy and times of sorrow. How can you stay strong spiritually when you are going through the valley? Who can you walk with and encourage when they are in the valley? Pastor Tim
