Today we are reading Psalm 73. In this psalm we read about the fate of the godless rich. “Truly you set them in slippery places; you make them fall to ruin. How they are destroyed in a moment, swept away utterly by terrors! Like a dream when one awakes, O Lord, when you rouse yourself, you despise them as phantoms.” Psalm 73:18-20 ESV The psalmist writes about the challenge of watching wicked people prosper while the faithful struggle. How can you relate to this experience? Are you content with what God has given you? How much are you tempted by materialism? May you find your true worth in Jesus! Pastor Tim
