Today we are reading Psalm 61. In this psalm we read about how God is a fortress for David. “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” Psalms 62:1-2 NIV We know these words are true—that “he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress.” When do you “feel” these things? When your life takes a rough or tragic turn, we desperately need God’s presence and strength. Feeling afraid or discouraged does not change who God is. He is always strong. He is always close. He is always our salvation. He is always God. May you feel His arms around you today. Pastor Tim
