Today we are reading Psalm 60. In this psalm we read about David reaching out to God to regain His favor. “Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? Is it not you, God, you who have now rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.” Psalms 60:9-12 NIV Have you failed in a big way? Have you wandered from God? How do you find your way back? The Bible says that God is near to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. When you have messed up, God is not distant. He is near by. He is the father of the prodigal waiting for us to return. Who is there to help you return to the Lord? Reach out to them today. May you see God’s presence in your life! Pastor Tim
