Today we are reading Psalm 56. In this psalm we read about trusting in God.
“In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Psalm 56:10-11 ESV When we put our trust in anything but God, we will be disappointed. False gods over-promise and under-deliver. In the time of pandemic we are told to “trust the science”. However, science and scientists make mistakes routinely. We can put our trust in God. We can count on God to watch over us and keep us safe. He has taken care of our greatest need—salvation. He will continue to tend to our lesser needs—temporary and transitory needs common to this life. May God bless you to have complete trust in Him! Pastor Tim
