Today we are reading Psalm 45. In this psalm we read about the eternal reign of God. “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness; you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;” Psalm 45:6-7 ESV The psalmist describes the rule and reign of God being founded on righteousness. Why is righteousness so important? Where do you see it on earth? Where would you like to see it? Ultimately we will all be judged by God. We will be saved by grace through faith in Jesus. In His name we are declared righteous. No one is righteous without Jesus. We all fall short. With repentance and wisdom we can model righteousness to those around us. God bless you with peace in His righteousness. Pastor Tim
