Psalm 38

Today we are reading Psalm 38. In this psalm we read about the sorrow we bring on ourselves when we sin. “O Lord, rebuke me not in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath! For your arrows have sunk into me, and your hand has come down on me. There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation; there is no health in my bones because of my sin. For my iniquities have gone over my head; like a heavy burden, they are too heavy for me. My wounds stink and fester because of my foolishness, I am utterly bowed down and prostrate; all the day I go about mourning.” Psalm‬ ‭38:1-6‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Sometimes when we sin, God allows us to linger in our mess. Why do you think He does that? What have you learned from the pain of your bad choices? What is the best thing you can do when you sin? How do you give wisdom to someone who is suffering from their sins? May God use you to guide someone back to Him. Pastor Tim
