Psalm 25

Today we are reading Psalm 25. In this psalm we read about turning to God when we feel overwhelmed. “The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he will pluck my feet out of the net. Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses. Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins.” Psalm‬ ‭25:14-18‬ ‭ESV‬‬ This time of year can be challenging emotionally. How do you navigate a time when you feel anxious or depressed? When every day is a struggle how can your faith help? One key is to seek your joy in Him. If your circumstances are tough, God is still good. Another key is to focus on serving others. When we take our eyes off of ourselves our struggles melt away. Who can you help today? Pastor Tim
