Psalm 138

Today we are reading Psalm 138. In this psalm we read about God’s deliverance of His people. “For though the Lord is high, he regards the lowly, but the haughty he knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” Psalm‬ ‭138:6-8‬ ‭ESV‬‬ it’s great to know that God considers the lowly. Very few people would regard themselves as the best of the best. But God doesn’t concern himself with worldly standards or what impresses humans. God sees the heart and the disposition of the heart is what’s most precious to him. God is with us even when we walk through the valley. He preserved our lives from those who would harm us. May you rejoice in his presence in your life today. Pastor Tim
