Today we are reading Psalm 13. In this psalm we read about waiting for God to answer prayer. “Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,” lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.” Psalm 13:3-6 ESV Think of a time when you felt as if God was not hearing your prayer. Can you see how David goes back and forth between faith and fear? What do you do to fight your fear? What does David do to stir up his faith? David also writes about those who are observing his life and faith. Who is observing your life and faith? What conclusions are they drawing from what they see? May God rally your faith to defeat your fears. Pastor Tim
