Psalm 129

Today we are reading Psalm 129. In this psalm we read about those who hate God’s people. “”Greatly have they afflicted me from my youth”— let Israel now say— “Greatly have they afflicted me from my youth, yet they have not prevailed against me. The Lord is righteous; he has cut the cords of the wicked. May all who hate Zion be put to shame and turned backward!”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭129:1-2, 4-5‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Have you ever been persecuted for your faith? Have you ever been reluctant to speak the truth of God’s word for fear of the reaction you would get? God will always make His word effective when we share it.  Our opinions—not so much! We must be faithful witnesses of God’s word especially now when their is so much evil in society. We are believers today because our spiritual ancestors were faithful. What future generations will be be blessed by your faithfulness today? Pastor Tim
