Today we are reading Psalm 128. In this psalm we read about the result of “fearing” the Lord. “Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.” Psalm 128:1-4 ESV What does it mean to fear the Lord? To fear the Lord means we know who He is. We know that He is Lord of all, Creator of the Universe and King of of Kings. We are blessed if we understand these things. This understanding permeates everything in our life and so in this way everything is touched by God’s hand of blessing. May you see His blessings today! Pastor Tim
