Psalm 123

Today we are reading Psalm 123. In this psalm we read about keeping our eyes on God. “To you I lift up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the heavens! Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he has mercy upon us.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭123:1-2‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Mercy is an interesting word. When you owe someone money, they are not likely to be merciful. When you have a car accident, mercy usually doesn’t get your car fixed! In you are pulled over for a traffic violation you might receive mercy—I have! God gives us mercy (forgiveness) in Jesus’ name. We are all thankful that we receive mercy. How quick are you to show mercy? Look for opportunities to show mercy today! Pastor Tim
