Today we are reading Proverbs 5. In this proverb we read about the self destruction of sexual sin. “Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her love. Why should you be intoxicated, my son, with a forbidden woman and embrace the bosom of an adulteress? For a man’s ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and he ponders all his paths.” Proverbs 5:18-21 ESV Sexual temptation is everywhere. It is interesting that Solomon, of all people, would speak to this. God’s ways are always best. One man, one woman, one lifetime. As a pastor I have seen so many people ruin their families because of adultery. If the forbidden person is whispering to you, run away!! Fight for your marriage. Get the help you need. Work through your struggles. Trust that God will guide you through your challenges and you and your family will be blessed by your faithfulness! Pastor Tim
