Today we are reading Proverbs 30. In this proverb we read the words of Agur. “Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.”
Proverbs 30:5-6 ESV How has God been a shield for you when you took refuge in Him? Why did you take refuge? How has God kept you safe? Have you ever heard someone add to God’s words? Anyone who denies Jesus as God’s Son and our Savior is a liar and will be rebuked by God. The devil is the father of lies and those who change God’s word will be punished with him.
