Proverbs 3

Today we are reading Proverbs 3. In this proverb we are urged to trust in the Lord with all our heart. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-7‬ ‭ESV‬‬  These simple and straight forward words are gold. It’s hard to trust with all our heart. How can we prevent other things from taking God’s place in our hearts? How can we keep from being wise in our own eyes. Imagine how Solomon must have viewed those he encountered. The wisest man that ever lived tells us not to be a know it all! Humility wins the day. May you trust God with all your heart and find His straight path before you. Pastor Tim
