Proverbs 25

Today we are reading Proverbs 25. In this proverb we read about the importance of speaking with care and wisdom. “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver. Like a gold ring or an ornament of gold is a wise reprover to a listening ear. Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest is a faithful messenger to those who send him; he refreshes the soul of his masters.” Proverbs‬ ‭25:11-13‬ ‭ESV‬‬ When have you heard words of encouragement that refreshed your soul? I remember a friend who was like a confidant for me. I told him, “A good friend is someone who, when you mess up, knows you didn’t do a permanent job of it!”  He answered, “maybe you didn’t mess up!” That bit of wisdom lifted me from my discouragement. Who needs to be encouraged by you today? Pastor Tim
