Proverbs 13

Today we are reading Proverbs 13. In this proverb we read about the blessings that come to the righteous. “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the sinner’s wealth is laid up for the righteous. Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him. The righteous has enough to satisfy his appetite, but the belly of the wicked suffers want.” Proverbs‬ ‭13:20, 22, 24-25‬ ‭ESV‬‬ In the New Testament we read, “do not be deceived, bad company corrupts good character.” How have these words been true for you? When have you walked with the wise? I seek wisdom from those who are experts in their field. Who can you seek wisdom from? May God give you the opportunity to impart the wisdom you have received.
