Today we are reading Proverbs 12. In this proverb we read about the contrast between diligence and sloth. “A prudent man conceals knowledge, but the heart of fools proclaims folly. The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor. Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. One who is righteous is a guide to his neighbor, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.” Proverbs 12:23-26 Who has spoken a good word to you when you are anxious? What did they say that lifted you up? Do you know anyone who is anxious? What can you say to help them? The last verse speaks about being a guide to your neighbor. What are some ways that you can do this? May God guide you to serve your neighbors! Pastor Tim
